With this interface cable, the audio accessories with the plug of VX-1R/2R/5R could also work with your VX-7R & VX-6R as well. Considering the limited availability of accessories for VX-7R in the market, this interface cable could bring your VX-7R & VX-6R to a new horizon of expandability.

Please be aware that this interface cable is not the same product as the original Yaesu CT-91 which could not adapt to VX-1R/2R/5R plug.

Apart from plug adaptation, the interface cable can also serve as a programming cable if combined with other adapters with serial port.

Though the in-plug is specially designed for VX-7R and VX-6R, it does not come with the waterproof connector. When plugging it to these radio models, it does not support the waterproof function.
